Welcome to Harper ISD.  I am truly blessed and honored to be able to serve the Harper students, staff, and community as Superintendent.  I am in my 27th year of education, and can proudly say all have been at Harper ISD.  Upon graduating from Southwest Texas State University in 1997, I began my career in Harper.  Through the years, I have served as a teacher, District Testing and Curriculum Coordinator, Assistant Principal, and Principal.  

I believe we have some of the best students and families in the state of Texas.  I strive to ensure we continue to grow and meet the mission and vision of Harper ISD by inspiring a culture of performance excellence and fostering academic pride, while providing a safe and caring environment for our students and staff.

On a personal note, my husband, Newell, and I have been married 25 years.  We live on a small ranch outside of Harper.  We enjoy team roping, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and just being outdoors.  

I look forward to the upcoming school year.
